I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing psychotherapy

and counseling services for children, teens, adults, couples and families.

I have worked in Vero Beach, Florida in a private practice since 1996.

I provide therapy for a wide range of issues and conditions, such as anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship issues, workplace stress, adolescent issues, school issues, workplace stress, life transitions, childhood issues, and stress of everyday life. 

 

I offer services to individuals of all ages (3+), genders, race,

religious beliefs, and sexual orientation.  

I provide a comfortable, confidential, non-judgmental, empathetic environment to assist you in achieving your personal growth and goals.

INSURANCE

Insurance

Although I am happy to file a claim with your health insurance provider on your behalf, please remember, all fees are your responsibility.


Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Remember, health insurance is a contract between you and your carrier and not a contract between me and your carrier. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Medicare and Medicaid
Unfortunately, I am not a Medicare or Medicaid provider therefore I can not bill Medicare or Medicare supplemental insurance. We are actively pursuing Federal legislation to change this, but at this time we apologize for the inconvenience.

Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.

Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a fee of $30.00.

Privacy  Policy 

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy


The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions include: 

  • Suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, for which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately. 

  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim. 

  •  If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist his or her cooperation in ensuring safety. If clients are unable or unwilling to cooperate, we may seek assistance without written permission as permitted by Florida Statutes.

We maintain confidentiality and privacy as required by Florida Statutes and Federal
guidelines under HIPPA.
